NEW YORK (1010 WINS) -- "Jersey Shore" star Ronnie Ortiz-Magro has avoided charges in connection with his domestic violence arrest, according to a report.
A spokesperson for the Los Angeles City Attorney's Office on Thursday told TMZ Ortiz-Magro would not be hit with a misdemeanor charge following his April arrest.
The office "will move to violate his probation and will hold a hearing on the matter next month," the outlet reported.
Ortiz-Magro was arrested for an alleged domestic violence incident involving his girlfriend, Saffire Matos, toward the end of April.
He avoided a felony charge in connection with the arrest last week — and posted about mental health on his Instagram page not long after.
"It's okay to feel unstable. It's okay to disassociate. It's okay to hide from the world. It's okay to need help. It's okay to not be okay," a quote he shared read. "Your mental illness is not a personal failure."
