NORTH NEW HYDE PARK, N.Y. (1010 WINS/WCBS 880) – A Long Island man was arrested on Saturday in relation to five burglaries that occurred in the area over the last several weeks, the Nassau County Police Department announced on Sunday.
Marc Gagliano, 39, was charged with five counts of third-degree burglary, second-degree criminal mischief and petit larceny.
Gagliano allegedly burglarized a residence in North New Hyde Park; Janie's Variety Store in Herricks; Ultra Mini Mart and Mineola Cigar and Vape in Mineola; and Crown Convenience Mart in East Meadow, police said.
The robberies took place between Dec. 29 and Jan. 13, according to officials.
Gagliano, of North New Hyde Park, was scheduled for arraignment on Sunday in Hempstead.
