NEW YORK (1010 WINS) — One person is in police custody after shots were fired in Times Square Thursday afternoon, authorities said.
It happened near the intersection of Broadway and West 42nd Street at approximately 3:37 p.m., officials said.
A person of interest is in custody but no formal arrests have been made at this time.
Police have not confirmed any injuries and the investigation remains ongoing.
