LI man arrested for strangling father to death

NEW YORK (1010 WINS) — A Long Island man was arrested Friday afternoon for killing his father in their home, authorities said.

Police responded to a 911 call just before 1 p.m. from the victim’s wife who said her son strangled her husband, according to officials.

Cops found 64-year-old Robert Taylor dead in his home at 36 Phillips Walk in West Babylon.

The suspect, 34-year-old James Taylor, was arrested at the scene.

Taylor was charged with 2nd degree murder and is scheduled to be arrainged on Saturday.
