NEW YORK (1010 WINS) -- One man was killed and another injured in a stabbing at a homeless shelter in Hell’s Kitchen on Thursday morning, police said as they search for the killer.
The three men got into an argument around 4:45 a.m. at the Urban Pathways shelter at 771 9th Ave.
Both victims were stabbed multiple times during the attack, police said.
A man in his 30s suffered stab wounds to his torso and was pronounced dead at NYC Health + Hospitals/Bellevue. He hasn't been identified.
The second victim, 34, had stab wounds to the abdomen and was in stable condition.
Police said it’s unclear if the victims knew their killer or if they are homeless.
The suspect hopped on a bike and sped off, police said. The search for him continued Thursday.
