NEW YORK (1010 WINS) – Three homeless men were injured in a fight at a Harlem subway station on Wednesday morning, police said.

The fight broke out on a platform at the 110th Street subway station just before 4 a.m.

A 42-year-old man was slashed in the arm, while another man was punched in the face and a third man was kicked in the face and head, according to police.

The 42-year-old was taken to St. Luke’s Hospital.

Police said the 42-year-old and a 26-year-old were arrested.

The NYPD is searching for a third man, said to be in his 20s, who ran off.

The incident comes amid an uptick in violent crime in the subway system. On Tuesday afternoon, a man was slashed in the neck during a dispute at the Union Square subway station.

And on Monday night, a man was slashed across the face at the 135th Street station in Harlem.
