NEW YORK (1010 WINS) -- There were 10 people injured in a three-alarm blaze at a Bronx apartment building on Monday afternoon.

Firefighters received a call at about 2:19 p.m. to 36 Marble Hill Ave. in Marble Hill where about more that 30 units and approximately 140 fire personnel responded to the scene, authorities said.

The flames started under the stairs on the first floor then spread up through the fourth floor leaving several people trapped, according to the FDNY.

There were 10 people injured included six firefighters and four civilians.

Fire officials initially thought there was an e-bike associated with the fire but no batteries found and have deemed the flames suspicious.
