NEW YORK (1010 WINS) -- A man and woman were fatally shot in an apparent murder-suicide at an apartment in Queens early Wednesday morning, according to sources and police.
The NYPD received a call just after 1:45 a.m. of multiple people shot inside a residential building at 84th Street and 34th Avenue in Jackson Heights.
Arriving officers found a 20-year-old man with a gunshot wound to the head and an 18-year-old woman with gunshot wounds to the head, torso and abdomen, police said.
Both were pronounced dead at the scene. Their identities have been withheld pending family notification.
The investigation is ongoing, but sources said the shooting appears to be domestic in nature and is believed to be a murder-suicide.
