NEW YORK (1010 WINS) -- A toddler was critically injured in a reported stabbing at a Bedford-Stuyvesant apartment on Tuesday evening.
The 14-month-old girl was stabbed in the stomach at a home on Patchen Avenue, near Jefferson Avenue, police sources told the Daily News.
The girl was stabbed around 5 p.m. and rushed to Bellevue Hospital, according to the report.
The girl was said to be in critical but stable condition at the hospital.
A bloody kitchen knife was recovered at the apartment, the sources said.
The girl was reportedly with her grandmother and 9-year-old brother at the time of the stabbing.
Police are looking into the possibility that the brother was involved in the stabbing, according to the report. The boy was taken to Kings County Hospital for a psychological evaluation.
