Health officials say 16 COVID-19 cases have been linked to the music festival, which was held on Randall’s Island over Labor Day Weekend.

Eight people have also been identified as likely been exposed to the virus before the concert, and potentially spread it to others.

Health officials are asking anyone who attended the festival to get tested for COVID-19 — regardless of if they’re vaccinated or not.

“The Health Department is leading this investigation, but New Yorkers have a vital role to play,” said Health Commissioner Dr. Dave Chokshi.

The festival required all attendees to have at least one shot of the COVID-19 vaccine, or a negative COVID test within 72 hours of the first day a person attended the festival.

The city’s Health Department says the investigation into the cluster is not just including New York City, and will be alerting other health departments in order to find if more cases are known.
