NEW YORK (1010 WINS) -- An 18-year-old man was shot and killed at NYCHA’s Woodside Houses in Queens early Sunday, police said Monday.
NYPD officers responding to a 911 call at 31-07 49th St. around 12:15 a.m. found the victim, Jafre Waugh, with multiple gunshot wounds.
He’d been shot in the chest and back, police said. He was pronounced dead at Elmhurst Hospital.
According to the NYPD, Waugh was a resident of the housing complex in northern Woodside.
No arrests have been reported in the case as of Monday.
