
NEW YORK (1010 WINS/WCBS 880) – A two-alarm fire in Harlem took the lives of two and injured another late Friday night, authorities said.
Fire personnel received a call at 11:45 p.m. Friday night that reported a second-floor fire in a four-story brownstone at 107 West 132nd Street, near Malcolm X Boulevard, the FDNY said.
Cell phone video obtained by ABC7 shows flames pouring out of the windows of the residential building’s first floor.
Two unidentified men were found when emergency responders arrived at the building, one of which was pronounced dead on the scene by EMS, police said.
The other was transported to NYC Health + Hospitals/Harlem where he was pronounced dead.
The blaze injured another 32-year-old man who was rushed to the same hospital and remains in stable condition, police confirmed.
Fire marshals are conducting an ongoing investigation to determine the cause of the fire.
