Pair grabbed, threatened in antisemitic attack on Brooklyn subway

NEW YORK (1010 WINS) — Police are searching for two suspects after two Jewish men were grabbed and threatened on a Brooklyn subway train Monday night.

It happened on a southbound 3 train at the Nostrand Avenue station in Crown Heights, police said. Officers responded at about 8:41 p.m. after the victims, ages 20 and 21, were approached by two strangers on the train.

The victims told police that the suspects grabbed them by their jackets and hurled antisemitic threats at them before exiting at the station and fleeing to parts unknown.

It was not immediately clear how the suspects knew the men were Jewish.

No injuries were reported in relation to the incident, and an investigation is ongoing. Police said that the Hate Crime Task Force was notified.
