
NEW YORK (1010 WINS) — The NYPD is investigating after two men were hospitalized following a stabbing in Washington Heights Sunday afternoon.
It happened at 12:42 p.m. in front of a deli on West 190th Street after a dispute escalated, officials said.
According to police, two men were stabbed with an unknown object. A 24-year-old man was stabbed in the abdomen and back. A 27-year-old man was stabbed in the abdomen.
Both men were taken to NYC Health + Hospitals/Harlem in stable condition.
Police couldn’t immediately confirm reports that the two men who were stabbed are brothers.
One person is in custody and authorities are searching for a man wearing a dark hat and a dark hooded sweatshirt.
The investigation is ongoing.
