NEW YORK (1010 WINS) – Two men were injured in separate subway slashings in Queens and Manhattan overnight Friday, authorities said.
A 26-year-old man was slashed on a subway platform at the Junction Boulevard 7-line station in Corona around 12 a.m., according to police.
The victim was slashed across the left shoulder and taken to Elmhurst Hospital in stable condition, police said.
About an hour earlier, a man was slashed in the face on a subway train in Manhattan, sources told the New York Post.
The 30-year-old victim was on an uptown 5-line train at the 125th Street station in Harlem when he was slashed by another man shortly after 11 p.m., according to the report.

The victim was taken to an area hospital to be treated.
It wasn't immediately known if either slashing was believed to be unprovoked.
Police were still searching for both assailants on Saturday. They have not released descriptions of the suspects.
