
NEW YORK (1010 WINS) — Two Q27 buses collided in Queens Monday morning, leaving at least 12 people injured, authorities said.
The crash occurred around 9:00 a.m. at the intersection of Sanford Avenue and Bowne Street in Flushing.
According to the FDNY, there were 18 people on the two occupied buses at the time of the crash. Twelve of the passengers were taken to a nearby hospital with minor injuries.
The MTA has temporarily rerouted several bus lines as a result of the collision, including the Q13, Q27, Q26, and Q65.
The cause of the crash is currently under investigation.
