NEW YORK (1010 WINS) — Two NYPD officers were dragged by an SUV fleeing a traffic stop in East Harlem Tuesday night, police said as the search for the driver continues.
Cops said it happened around 9:15 p.m. on 116th Street and Third Avenue.
The officers pulled over a white Range Rover with New Jersey plates, surveillance video shows.
It remains unclear why the driver was stopped, but when police began questioning him, he abruptly fled.

The cops were dragged and left lying on the roadway by the vehicle, witnesses said.
The vehicle that stuck the officers was found nearby at 114th Street and First Avenue.
