NEW YORK (1010 WINS) — Two separate stabbing happened in the Manhattan subway system on Wednesday, sending two men to the hospital, according to the NYPD.

The first stabbing happened at 9:26 a.m. on the 1 train platform at the 110th Street-Cathedral Parkway station in Morningside Heights, police said.
A 30-year-old man was knifed in the head, arm and hip. He was taken to an area hospital in stable condition.

Minutes later, at about 9:45 a.m., a 31-year-old man was stabbed in the back while aboard a 2 train near the 14th Street subway station in Flatiron.
