NEW YORK (1010 WINS) -- Police are searching for two men in the slashing of a teen on a Bronx street last week.

The NYPD released surveillance footage Thursday of the suspects in the Jan. 22 attack.

The 15-year-old victim was walking at E. 172nd Street and Rosedale Avenue in the Soundview section around 10:30 a.m. when he was assaulted.

The teen was slashed across the face by two attackers who used a cutting instrument, police said.

The victim was transported in stable condition to NYC Health + Hospitals/Jacobi.

His attackers fled in a white sedan seen in surveillance footage, police said.

It’s unclear if investigators believe the teen was targeted.

Anyone with information is asked to call Crime Stoppers at 1-800-577-TIPS.
