NEW YORK (1010 WINS) — Authorities are searching for two men wanted in connection with a stabbing that occurred on a Brooklyn subway platform last week, police said Tuesday as they released photos of the suspects.
It happened just before 11:30 p.m. on Tuesday, May 19, inside the Euclid Avenue subway station in East New York. According to police, a 39-year-old man was standing on the southbound A/C train platform when he was approached by the suspects and a dispute ensued.
The argument escalated into a physical altercation between the victim and the suspects. During the fight, one of the suspects pulled out a knife and stabbed the victim in the lower back, police said.
Both suspects fled the station on foot to parts unknown.
EMS transported the victim to One Brooklyn Health-Brookdale University Hospital Medical Center where he was listed in stable condition.
