NEW YORK (WCBS 880) -- Police are searching for two suspects after a 42-year-old man was shot in the leg Friday afternoon in Brooklyn, according to authorities.
Officials said the shooting happened at about 2:15 p.m. in front of 183 South Portland Ave. in Downtown Brooklyn.
The victim was shot in the left thigh and was transported by EMS to Methodist Hospital in stable condition.

The NYPD is searching for two men who they said fled the scene in a black vehicle.
An investigation remains ongoing.
