NEW YORK (1010 WINS) – Two teen boys were shot, one of them fatally, overnight in Brooklyn, police said Friday.
A 17-year-old boy was shot and killed in the Bayview Houses in Canarsie just after midnight, police said.
The teen, later identified as Jaden Brown, was shot at 1540 E. 102 St. Officers responding to a 911 call found Brown with a gunshot wound to his chest.
He was rushed to Brookdale Hospital, but he did not survive.

A little over an hour before the Canarsie shooting, a 16-year-old boy was shot in the head and critically injured in Fort Greene.
The 16-year-old was shot around 10:45 p.m. on N. Portland Avenue, near the Whitman Houses.
The teen was taken to an area hospital in critical condition, PIX11 reported.

Police believe someone may have shot the teen from a gray vehicle, according to the report.
Police said no arrests have been made in either shooting.
