NEW YORK (1010 WINS) — Police released surveillance footage of a man wanted for punching two women then robbing their groceries in the Bronx Wednesday afternoon.
At approximately 3 p.m., a 22-year-old woman and an 18-year-old girl were engaged in a verbal dispute with the unknown man in front of 3010 Jerome Ave. in Bedford Park when he became irate, officials said.
The man then punched the two victims in the face with a closed fist and stole bags of groceries from them, police said.
He fled in an unknown grey sedan northbound on Jerome Avenue.
EMS transported both victims to Saint Barnabas Hospital for minor injuries to the face.
The was last seen wearing a blue Yankee hat, blue jacket, blue jeans, and white and black sneakers.
