NEW YORK (1010 WINS/WCBS 880) — Police are searching for a man wanted for robbing two women of their necklaces while aboard a Brooklyn subway train last week, authorities said Thursday.

According to officials, the suspect displayed a firearm demanding their necklaces. The suspect then took the victim's necklaces and fled the station on foot heading southbound on Myrtle Avenue to parts unknown.

There were no injuries reported.

He was last seen wearing a yellow hooded sweatshirt, yellow sweatpants, white sneakers, black hat and a black mask. He was also carrying a multi-colored bag.
