NEW YORK (1010 WINS) — A young man was fatally shot in Queens early Saturday morning, according to police.
An unidentified assailant opened fire near Beach 84 Street and Shorefront Parkway in Rockaway Beach around 4:09 a.m., police said.
Police arrived to find a 25-year-old man with gunshot wounds to the torso, according to cops.
The victim was transported to Jamaica Hospital Medical Center, where he was pronounced deceased.
Further details were not immediately clear.
No arrests have been made and an investigation is ongoing.
