NEW YORK (1010 WINS) – Three firefighters were injured, one of them seriously, while battling a fire at an auto shop in Brooklyn early Saturday morning, officials said.
The fire broke out around 3:30 a.m. at 2944 86th St. in Gravesend. It went to a two-alarm fire about 15 minutes later.
More than 100 members of the department responded and brought the fire under control around 5 a.m.

The three firefighters who were injured were taken to area hospitals. One of them suffered serious but non-life-threatening injuries and was taken to Richmond University Medical Center.
The cause of the fire is under investigation.
