NEW YORK (1010 WINS) — Police are searching for a man who shot at a 36-year-old man in a parked car on Friday, injuring the man and two other people in the process.

The shooter opened fire around 11:05 p.m. in a parking lot on Queens Boulevard near 42nd Street in Sunnyside, officials said.


The rounds hit the vehicle, causing debris to hit the 36-year-old man inside and a 65-year-old woman. A 71-year-old man dove out of the way to avoid the gunfire.

All three suffered minor injuries during the shooting, but no one was directly hit.

The shooter fled in a minivan. Police have not yet made any arrests.

All three victims were treated at the scene.
