NEW YORK (1010 WINS) -- Three men were killed and five people were wounded in three separate shootings, including a drive-by, in Brooklyn and the Bronx on Wednesday night, police said.
The shooting began in Bedford-Stuyvesant around 9:30 p.m., when a 28-year-old man was shot multiple times on Herkimer Street, near Rochester Avenue.
The victim was taken to Kings County Hospital, where he was pronounced dead. He has not been identified.
Then in Prospect Lefferts Gardens around 10:15 p.m., shots were fired into a crowd on Hawthorne Street, near Nostrand Avenue.
Police said several gunmen opened fire from a car, hitting six people. Shots were fired from the driver's window, passenger's window and a sunroof of a white BMW Series 5, according to WABC-TV.
A 23-year-old man was shot in the chest and rushed to Kings County Hospital, where he was pronounced dead.
Five other people were wounded in the drive-by shooting, police said. A 26-year-old man was shot in the right leg; a 29-year-old man was shot in the left leg; a 29-year-old woman was shot in the right leg; a 27-year-old man was shot in the groin; and a 28-year-old man was grazed in the back by a bullet.
All five victims were taken to area hospitals, where they were listed in stable condition, according to police.

Then around 11:40 p.m. in the Bronx, a 23-year-old man was shot in the head on Anderson Avenue, near W. 166th Street, in the Highbridge section.
The man, identified as Aaron Santiago, was taken to Lincoln Hospital, where he was pronounced dead.
No arrests have been made in any of the shootings.
