NEW YORK (1010 WINS) – Several people were rescued, including an 80-year-old woman, as flames tore through an apartment building in Hell's Kitchen on Wednesday morning, officials said.
The fire broke out around 1:30 a.m. Citizen App video shows flames pouring out of third-floor windows of the building at W. 50th Street and Ninth Avenue.

Officials said three people were rescued from the building. Among them was an 80-year-old woman who was lowered to safety, according to WABC.
In all, six people suffered non-life-threatening injuries, officials said. Among the injured were three firefighters.
The two-alarm fire was brought under control at 2:15 a.m.
Authorities are investigating the cause of the fire. Officials said it is believed to be suspicious.
