NEW YORK (1010 WINS/WCBS 880) -- A man already wanted for four armed robberies in Manhattan and Brooklyn struck again on Monday, mugging three men in Midtown over a three-hour span in a spree that has left some victims stabbed or slashed, police said Tuesday as they released photos of the suspect.
Monday's crime binge started at 10:10 a.m., when the thief grabbed a 55-year-old man and pushed him against a wall at E. 36th Street and Fifth Avenue. He held a knife to him and demanded his valuables, police said.
The victim complied and handed over a watch valued at $550, but not before suffering a slash wound to the stomach. He was transported by EMS to NYC Health + Hospitals/Bellevue, where he was in stable condition.
Roughly a half-hour later at 10:40 a.m., a 68-year-old man was walking near E. 35th Street and Third Avenue in Murray Hill when a man believed to be the suspect brandished a sharp object and robbed him of his watch and ring.
The victim was uninjured, while the thief made off with the jewelry, valued at $15,000.
The crook struck again at 12:30 p.m., targeting a 40-year-old man as he stood in front of 488 Madison Ave., just a block north of St. Patrick's Cathedral.
As in the other robberies, he pulled a sharp object and then pressed it against the victim's stomach, police said. He snatched the man's chain and fled southbound on Madison Avenue. The victim was not injured.

Cops are also eyeing the suspect in a robbery last Tuesday morning in Brooklyn Heights, where a 55-year-old man was robbed at Columbia Place and Joralemon Street around 6:30 a.m.
The victim had a sharp object pulled on him and was forced to hand over his bag containing a laptop and $300 in cash. When he tried to get the items back, the suspect stabbed him in the right arm, police said. EMS transported the victim to NYU Langone Hospital—Brooklyn in stable condition.
The suspect also allegedly robbed a 24-year-old man on the Lower East Side on the morning of June 9. The victim was walking at Grand and Chrystie streets around 12:30 a.m. when he was pushed to the ground and robbed of his cellphone and wallet. He didn't require medical attention at the scene.
Four days before that robbery, a 24-year-old man was menaced with a sharp object and robbed of his cellphone near W. 57th Street and Eighth Avenue in Midtown in yet another mugging linked to the suspect. The victim suffered a laceration to his right hand and torso and was taken to Mount Sinai West in stable condition.
The first robbery linked to the suspect is from Chelsea on May 7, when a 39-year-old man was held up at knifepoint around 12:45 a.m. as he walked near W. 16th Street and 10th Avenue. The victim ran away without being robbed or injured, police said.
