NEW YORK (1010 WINS) -- Police are searching for a group wanted in connection with a string of unauthorized credit card transactions totaling nearly $20,000 that occurred across Staten Island.
It was first reported to authorities that between November 1, 2020, and November 15, 2020, a 74-year-old man's credit cards were used to make unauthorized transactions totaling over $10,000 dollars at different locations.
Between November 3, 2020, and November 6, 2020, a 37-year-old woman's credit cards were used to make unauthorized transactions totaling over $3,000 dollars at different locations, according to officials.
In the third incident, it was reported to police that betwee November 16, 2020, and December 1, 2020, a 34-year-old woman's credit cards were used to make unauthorized transactions totaling over $5,000 dollars at different locations.
Officials said that on November 17, 2020, a fourth incident involved a 76-year-old man's credit cards were used to make unauthorized ATM withdrawals totaling over $1,000 dollars.
