NEW YORK (1010 WINS) -- Three teens were killed, and four others injured, in a two-vehicle crash on the Belt Parkway in Brooklyn on Tuesday night, authorities said.
Those killed were among five people in a Cadillac Escalade that collided with a Honda HR-V around 11:35 p.m. near 65th Street in Bay Ridge, police and fire officials said.
The vehicles were both headed eastbound on the Belt at the time of the crash, according to police.
Three males who were in the Cadillac—ages 16, 17 and 18—were pronounced dead, while two additional males in the vehicle had minor injuries, the FDNY said.
Two females in the Honda—ages 43 and 47—were taken to a hospital in stable condition with minor injuries.
Police said an investigation into the crash is ongoing.
