NEW YORK (WCBS 880) — Three $1 million lottery tickets for Wednesday's $632.2 million Powerball drawing were sold in New York City and New Jersey, officials said.
One of the second-tier winning tickets was sold at Robin's Convenience Store Deli & Grill on River Avenue in Lakewood, New Jersey Lottery announced Thursday.
The two others were sold at the Patchen Gourmet Grill on Patchen Avenue in Bedford-Stuyvesant and a Stop & Shop located on Myrtle Avenue in Ridgewood, according to New York Lottery.
The tickets matched the five numbers from the drawing – 6, 14, 25, 33 and 46 – but not the Powerball number, which was 17.
Two winning tickets for the seventh largest Powerball jackpot on record were sold in California and Wisconsin. Those winners will split the $632.6 million prize.
New Jersey Lottery officials said four other tickets in the state matched four of the numbers and the Powerball, winning the $50,000 third-tier prize.
Those winning tickets were sold at the following locations:
- Monmouth County: Village Exxon in Holmdel
- Passaic County: Rainbow Deli & Liquor in Clifton
- Passaic County: HTMK LLC in Passaic
- Sussex County: E & T Food Market in Hopatcong
In total, 146,561 other New Jersey players took home an estimated $725,551 in prize money, ranging from $4 to $200.
Six $50,000 winning Powerball tickets were also sold in New York State at the following locations:
- Albany County: Stewart's Shops in Slingerlands
- Kings County: Blak Service Station in Brooklyn
- Westchester County: Food Mart in White Plains
- Queens County: 99 Cents Up Store in Astoria
- Queens County: PPL United Wine and Liquor in East Elmhurst
The Powerball jackpot resets to $20 million for the next drawing, which will be held Saturday at 10:59 p.m.
