
NEW YORK (1010 WINS) — A 32-year-old man was shot in the chest just two blocks away from the Barclays Center in Brooklyn on Monday, according to police.
A person in a blue hoodie shot the man around 3:54 p.m. on Fourth Avenue near Dean Street in Boerum Hill, officials said.
Emergency responders rushed the victim to New York-Presbyterian Brooklyn Methodist Hospital, where he was pronounced dead.
Police don’t yet know what led to the shooting but said he had a history of arrests for drug and firearm possession.
