NEW YORK (1010 WINS) -- Police arrested a man and three teens accused of violently robbing a woman visiting from Texas in Times Square Sunday evening.

The suspects repeatedly punched the 30-year-old tourist at West 45th Street and Broadway just after 7 p.m. then took her phone, according to officials.

The group dropped the phone but took $170 that was inside the case, authorities allege.

Police said that a 17-year-old boy left a black bag with a loaded firearm under a hot dog food cart.

The vendor flagged down officers who brought the bag to the police precinct where the gun was discovered, according to the NYPD.

Officials arrested all four suspects near where the incident occurred.

David Baker, 22, and Jone Garner, 19, both of the Bronx, were arrested along with a boy and girl each 17 who were not identified by police because of their age.

The suspects face charges for robbery, grand larceny, assault, criminal possession of stolen property, and harassment, officials added.

An investigation is ongoing.
