NEW YORK (1010 WINS) – Eight people, including four firefighters, were injured in a fire at a Bronx apartment building on Saturday morning, the FDNY said.
The fire broke out shortly before 8:30 a.m. at a six-story apartment building on Creston Avenue in Mount Hope.

Four firefighters and four civilians were injured, according to the FDNY.
All eight were transported to area hospitals with injuries believed to be non-life-threatening, the FDNY said.
The fire was brought under control shortly before 9:30 a.m.
The cause of the fire is under investigation.
