NEW YORK (1010 WINS) — Four NYPD officers were hurt when their cruiser overturned in Queens Saturday afternoon, police said Sunday.
The cops were driving back to their station house in the Rockaways around 3:30 p.m. when their cruiser hit a median and flipped over near the intersection of 157th Avenue and Cross Bay Boulevard in Howard Beach, police said.
The officers were transported to Jamaica Hospital with minor injuries, police said.
FDNY firefighters were on the scene surrounding the vehicle, video posted to Citzen shows.
Eventually, police tied the cruiser to a second NYPD truck, which pulled the back on its wheels, the video shows.
