NEW YORK (1010 WINS) — Three shootings across the city early Sunday morning left five people injured, authorities said.
The first shooting happened at 112th Street and Lexington Avenue in Harlem around 2 a.m. A 30-year-old man was shot in the right foot, a 29-year-old man was hit in the right shoulder and left leg and a 26-year-old was struck in the right arm, police said.
The 30-year-old was transported to NYC Health + Hospitals/Metropolitan while the other two were brought to St. Luke's Roosevelt Hospital. All of them are expected to survive but all refused to cooperate with police, according to officials.
Around 4:30 a.m. in Brooklyn more gunfire broke out. A 22-year-old man was shot multiple times at Franklin Avenue and Carroll Street and was transported to Kings County Hospital in stable condition.
A short time later in the Bronx, around 5 a.m., a 49-year-old man was shot once in the neck outside 1332 Commerce Avenue. Cops found multiple shell casings at the scene.
