NEW YORK (1010 WINS) -- A group of men beat, pistol-whipped and robbed a man of his Nike sneakers in Upper Manhattan, police said Friday as they released images of six suspects.

The broad-daylight attack from Sept. 28 left the 21-year-old victim hospitalized, according to the NYPD.

He was walking at West 146th Street and Broadway in Hamilton Heights just after 7 p.m. when a half-dozen males came up and punched and kicked him, police said. One of them also used a firearm to pistol-whip him on the head.

The group stole his Air Jordan sneakers, $20 cash and a fanny pack, according to cops.

The victim was admitted to the hospital in stable condition and expected to recover.
