77-year-old man assaulted and robbed in Brooklyn road rage incident, 2 men sought

NEW YORK (1010 WINS) -- A road rage incident escalated into assault and robbery in Brooklyn Thursday afternoon when an unidentified suspect punched a 77-year-old man and made off with his belongings, according to police.

The two motorists got into an argument around 3:23 p.m. near Nichols Avenue and Fulton Street in Cypress Hills.

The male suspect took the victim’s phone and some cash before leaving with his male passenger, who is also being sought by police.

The victim was bruised, but did not suffer serious injury and refused medical attention at the scene of the crime.

Police are asking for tips from anyone with information on the incident, including knowledge of the suspect’s license plate number — 6D40980.
