NEW YORK (1010 WINS) — A man with a stun gun outside a Queens public school caused at least eight children to be hospitalized Thursday afternoon.
The NYPD said the incident happened around 12:30 p.m. in the schoolyard of P.S. 305 on Seneca Avenue in the Ridgewood section of the borough.

Two men in their 20s were outside of a fenced in area where children were playing and one was carrying a stun gun, authorities said.
A total of eight children, ranging in age from 8 to 10, were then shocked when the man’s weapon made contact with the metal fence that they were leaning against.
No injures were reported in connection with the incident, but the children were transported to Wyckoff Medical Center as a precaution.
Police said they have not made any arrests as of 6 p.m. Thursday and it remains unclear if the action was deliberate or accidental.
