NEW YORK (1010 WINS/WCBS 880) – An argument at a Bronx Golden Krust ended with a group beating up and robbing a man right inside the restaurant, police said.
The NYPD released an image Wednesday of one of four male suspects sought in the Feb. 14 robbery at the Golden Krust at White Plains Road and Britton Street in Allerton.
The 28-year-old victim was involved in some sort of dispute with one of the men at the Caribbean cuisine spot at 5 p.m. when the spat took a turn for the worse.
Three men joined in, and all four punched and kicked the victim "numerous times" in his face and body, police said.
They then ripped off his backpack, which contained electronics and clothing, and fled with it, according to police.
The four suspects left the area in two vehicles.
The victim suffered minor injuries and was treated at the scene.
Anyone with information is asked to call Crime Stoppers at 1-800-577-TIPS.
