NEW YORK (1010 WINS) -- Police are searching for an armed suspect who drove off in a man's car after rear-ending him over the weekend in Brooklyn.
Just before 1 a.m., on Saturday, June 3, a 30-year-old man was driving a 2017 black Toyota Camry Uber, while in the intersection of Columbia St. and West 9th St. in Red Hook, when the suspect driving a white Dodge Ram rear-ended the victim.
When the drivers exited their vehicles to look over the damage, the suspect displayed a firearm and forced the victim away from the vehicle and onto the sidewalk, officials said.
The suspect then fled in the victim's vehicle to parts unknown but the car was recovered a few days later.
There were no injuries as a result of this incident.
The suspect was last seen wearing a black hooded sweater, gray sweat pants and black sneakers.
