NEW YORK (1010 WINS) — The NYPD is searching for two suspects who held up a man at gunpoint on the street in Brooklyn last month and made off with tens of thousands of dollars in jewelry.
The robbery happened at 10:45 p.m. on Saturday, Nov. 23, in front of 101 Jefferson Ave. in Beford-Stuyvesant, police said.
Police said that the duo approached the 45-year-old victim and displayed guns before removing $65,000 worth of jewelry from his person.
The men fled on foot, traveling eastbound on Jefferson Avenue.
Police released surveillance footage of the suspects on Saturday to help in their apprehension.
