NEW YORK (WCBS 880) -- The NYPD is searching for an armed man wanted for following then robbing a man inside of the lobby of his apartment building in Upper Manhattan, authorities said.
On Saturday, May 7, at approximately 9:45 a.m., the suspect followed a 60-year-old man inside the lobby of his apartment building in the vicinity of Audubon Avenue and West 188 Street in Fort George.
Police said the suspect displayed a firearm and took the victim's wristwatch and $300 in cash.
The suspect was last seen fleeing southbound on Audubon Avenue to parts unknown.
