VIDEO: Armed suspects in Mercedes wanted in gunpoint robbery on Bronx street

NEW YORK (1010 WINS) -- Police are searching for two suspects wanted in the gunpoint robbery of two men sitting inside a car in the Bronx last week, authorities said.

The robbery happened on Friday, Sept. 9, at approximately 9:30 p.m. in the vicinity of 229th Street and Bailey Avenue in Marble Hill, the NYPD said.

According to officials, a 24-year-old man and a 22-year-old man were sitting inside of a parked vehicle when they were approached by two suspects who exited a black Mercedes-Benz sedan.

The suspects displayed a firearm and forcibly stole the victim’s wallet, car key fob, and wallet.

No injuries were reported, police said.
