NEW YORK (1010 WINS) -- The NYPD is seeking to identify a trio of men accused of targeting two Queens businesses in back-to-back gunpoint robberies over the weekend.
Just before 11 p.m. on Sunday, Feb. 18, the suspects entered a smoke shop located at 30-07 39th Ave. in Dutch Kills where they displayed a simulated firearm and attempted to gain access behind the counter.
The suspects then fled the location on foot into the 39th Avenue subway station.
The second incident occurred shortly after at approximately 11:15 p.m.
According to officials, the suspects entered a flooring store located at 62-02 Roosevelt Ave. in Woodside where they displayed a simulated firearm and stole $1,000 from the register behind the counter.
The suspects then fled the location on foot northbound to parts unknown.
There were no injuries reported in either incident and an investigation remains ongoing.
