The NYPD’s Hate Crime Task Force released images of the suspects Thursday as it investigates the incidents, which happened a week apart in Flushing and Chelsea. There’s no indication they’re connected.

In Flushing, a 62-year-old man was at a Mobil gas station at Northern Boulevard and 147th Street on the morning of July 5 when he was approached by another man, who made anti-Asian remarks and bumped the victim's shoulder, police said.

A week later on the morning of July 12, a 57-year-old woman was outside the Western Beef Supermarket on W. 16th Street in Chelsea when a man came up, made anti-Asian statements and kicked her in the hip, according to police.

No serious injuries were reported.

Anyone with information is asked to call Crime Stoppers at 1-800-577-TIPS.
