VALLEY STREAM, N.Y. (1010 WINS) -- A 75-year-old woman was attacked by her own dogs at a home on Long Island, police said Thursday.
The woman was bitten by two dogs at a house on East Avenue in Valley Stream around 4:45 p.m. Wednesday, according to Nassau County police.
She suffered multiple lacerations to “various parts of her body,” police said.
She was taken to a hospital in stable condition for treatment.
Nassau County’s emergency service unit secured the dogs, which were then removed by Town of Hempstead Animal Control.
