NEW YORK (1010 WINS) -- The NYPD is investigating yet another possible hate crime against an Asian man in the Bronx on Sunday, officials said.

According to police, a 66-year-old Asian man was punched in the face while walking on East 167th Street near Fulton Street in the Morrisania neighborhood just before 4 p.m.

Authorities said the attacker approached the victim from behind and punched him in the left side of the face without saying a word.

He refused medical attention at the scene.

Police sources told the New York Post that the victim has a vision impairment.

The attacker is described as a man in his 40s and about 6 feet tall.

The NYPD's hate crimes task force is looking into this attack as a possible hate crime.
